European case law helps protect fixed-term workers against discrimination but contributes little to restricting employer recourse to this form of non-standard contract. Europe – Eurofound launches report on temporary employment

The Eurofound published on the 4 January 2016 the executive summary of the report on temporary employment across the EU27. This report is based on the EU Labour Force Survey data for 2001 to 2012. Among other issues, it calculates the wage gap between temporary and permanent employees.
